Update on Nancy-Jo - July 17, 2010

Hi, True (and potential) friends:

Colorado Springs Pridefest happens this weekend! For more, see http://ppglcc.org/joomla3/ In our town, Sunday is the biggest day. The Parade down Tejon Street happens at Noon... well, usually... and then we turn Acacia Park (our version of Central Park) into one great, big fabulous time! I - Nancy-Jo - will be opening the festivities there; and as far as I know, this is the first time a Full-time Trans-woman has done so in the now 20-year history of Colorado Springs Pridefest!

Me personally? Still no word about the job I had an interview for on yesterday. But according to the Boss, I'll know the "Yes" or "No" on Monday. Since my unemployment Benefits ran out, back on July 1; and I have no savings left - my fate does truly hang in the balance.

If all goes right, I'll be back to proclaim that good news. But if it goes wrong, this may be the last time you all will hear from me online.
